Had my worst experience at this outlet for the first time! Previously, I visited the outlet at JB and had no issues. We went to the Jem outlet during dinner peak hour and were surprised to see it was almost empty. I guess it was a warning sign, but I failed to see it.
The mac & cheese was served cold, the muffin wasn't baked properly or wasn't fresh at all (it had a sandy texture inside), the onion rings were not edible as they were overcooked (also served cold), and the mash potato was spoilt! I initially thought it was just my taste buds that didn't agree with the mash potato, but my partner confirmed it had gone bad just by smelling it...
My partner requested one of the waitresses to pack her leftovers because she couldn't finish them. The waitress came back with a plastic container, expecting us to pack it ourselves. I'm okay with packing the food myself, but why do I have to pay the 10% service fee if that's the case?
Employees at that outlet were not helpful at all. We had an issue ordering food using our phones initially, but none of them could explain what the problem was. Instead, they just asked us to order at the counter.

Visited the Jem outlet and it was my first time eating at Kenny Rogers. It was so bad that I didn't finish my food. I had to wait for my drinks, and constantly reminded them to bring them, which took 20-30 minutes. They seemed more focused on packing takeaway orders rather than serving dine-in customers. The chicken was bloody inside, so I couldn't eat it. Don't come to this place at all! It was a waste of money.

I was craving their warm and savoury mac and cheese and the corn muffin, so I ordered the quarter chicken set with brown sauce, thinking it would be a hot and satisfying meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice restaurant ambience at this branch. However, when the food arrived, the brown sauce and chicken were not hot, but at room temperature. I was baffled. I tried the mac and cheese, and it was flat, cold, and lacked the slightly salty and savoury warmth of cheese. The mashed potato was similar; it was half clumpy and seemed undercooked inside, and the gravy was cold. I was really disgusted. The only saving grace was the muffin, which was hot and good as usual. I went back to the staff and told them the sides were cold, and they microwaved them, but the food was still delivered back lukewarm. This branch seriously needs to look into how they keep their food fresh and serve quality food – I wasted over $20 and only ate half the portion. The Malay lady at the cashier counter provided friendly and warm service, but I think all the staff in this branch need training to focus on delivering fresh, hot food.

We ordered 2 sets of Kenny's Quarter Meal. It was a great disappointment. They served old and cold fries and chicken thigh (we paid an extra $1 for the upgrade from chicken breast to chicken thigh). When I told the waiter that the fries were not fresh, he just smiled. There was no apology and no effort to redo fresh ones. The sauce for the chicken was horrible; we left it untouched. The standard of the food has dropped tremendously since we last came here 2 years ago. We are definitely not coming back.

She told us to walk in for seats and order from the table rather than standing at the counter, and we were promptly directed to available seats by a young man. She also informed us before we walked in that a wait of 15-20 minutes was expected, which was very valuable information.
Food was served nicely at appropriate intervals. The chicken was a tad too salty for my liking, but the mushroom soup was great.
As we were rushing off to pay the bill with a lot in hand, she offered me a paper bag so I could hold things more easily. A very good experience, even at busy lunch hours. Definitely coming back when I'm nearby.
