Kopitiam represents Singapore's evolution of traditional hawker culture, transforming the beloved kopitiam experience into modern, air-conditioned food courts across the island. With over 70 outlets operated by NTUC Enterprise since 2018, Kopitiam has become an integral part of Singapore's dining landscape, offering the best local hawker fare at affordable prices.
Each Kopitiam food court houses a diverse collection of stalls serving iconic Singaporean favorites including Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, char kway teow, yong tau foo, and kaya toast, alongside international cuisines from Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese traditions. Special outlets like Plaza Singapura feature Michelin-approved hawkers, bringing award-winning flavours under one roof.
Beyond just food, Kopitiam serves as important community spaces where Singaporeans from all walks of life gather daily. Recently revitalized locations at major malls feature thoughtful interior designs and comfortable modern environments while maintaining the authentic taste and competitive pricing that makes hawker culture accessible to everyone.

On August 18, our family of three came to this food court for dinner. We ordered from three different shops for the two adults. However, our son is not used to this kind of food and can only eat specific things. So, just for him, we brought a wrap from outside. But the worker didn't let our 12-year-old son eat his own wrap, telling him to go and eat outside. This was a hilarious experience that should never have happened. Separating a family from the dinner table because of one wrap! We had already ordered three different dishes; otherwise, we wouldn't have stayed a minute longer. The worker didn't call a manager for us to talk to and told me to go and find somewhere else by myself. Very disappointing and it ruined our day.

I had just finished my cup of coffee and wanted to leave. The staff member working there rudely told me that I couldn't leave the cup on the table and that I had to return it to the collection point. As an elderly person with leg problems, I am unable to stand or walk for long, and find it difficult to return to the collection point. What if I were to fall while returning it, who would be responsible?
However, when I returned another day, another customer didn't return their tray, but nothing was said. The manager there was busy talking and was very rude, pretending not to see.

The Kaya toast... Look how "little" the Kaya was?!! And the staff said, after 11 am, no more breakfast sets, only à la carte!! And this is set up by NTUC Cooperative to help the common Singaporean?
The young lady at the dessert station was better, filling the bowl full!

Encountered a biased and rude manager at the kopitiam. There was no signage placed at the tall tables outside the pizza stall. Why are these tall tables only reserved for diners at the pizza stall? The rest of the tables aren't serving pizzas either. What kind of nonsensical regulations are these? Shame on you, kopitiam. Hiring managers to chase customers away.

This is by far the worst food court. The drink stall's service is very slow; with four staff, only one was working while the rest were idling. It took me 10 minutes at the counter just to order a cup of coffee. The food is expensive and doesn't taste good.

Look no further for an exceptional chendol with super creamy coconut milk and excellent gula melaka on a bed of ice, topped with green jelly and red beans, set off by brilliant red kidney beans. A feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.

It's a busy food court, especially during peak evening hours. Be sure to find a seat before ordering if you have more than two people. We liked the Nasi Lemak (very good), claypot rice, and the Ching Teng, which is a refreshing popular dessert in Singapore. The only downside is that this food court closes around 9:30 pm. Even though there are still a couple of stalls operating, the cleaning staff will remind you to start leaving.
