I ordered the mentai mayo and cheese gyudon, with the reasonable expectation that it would look like the photo. There was barely a hint of mentai mayo in my order. Even after giving feedback to the company, no one replied after I followed up. Such a disappointment.

A chain restaurant from Japan. I love Sukiya and ordered the same dish as when I visit other branches, but somehow it's not as tasty here. The sauce to rice ratio was a little too much. But maybe this is a one-off thing. Overall, I would still recommend Sukiya if you're looking for a fuss-free gyudon meal.

Food was served pretty quickly as we were one of the first customers. The medium gyudon we ordered was frankly quite tasteless, requiring plentiful chilli flakes and pickles to make it palatable. The egg was overcooked, and the rice was mushy and clumpy. The Yakiniku XL was much better, with very generous beef. However, the egg was again overcooked, with a solid yolk, and the rice was also overcooked. See the last photo. It's very good value always, but it's a shame as we've had better at other outlets. Not sure if it's because we were the first customers of the day?

I have always come to this Sukiya branch at Changi City Point! They are always very nice and friendly, and even when I come close to closing time, they are always happy to serve us a hearty meal! 5 out of 5! And great thanks to Indah, who we always see on the night shift!

Sukiya: A Solid Choice for a Casual Meal. This is a great place to eat, with mid-range prices comparable to food court options in the mall. I really appreciate the variety in portion sizes, which offers flexibility depending on how hungry you are. It’s a nice, no-fuss spot for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. It's good that they have an exclusive kiosk for take-away orders.

Nice outlet of Sukiya at Changi City Point. The place is a bit small, but the turnaround is fast; I only had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat. You can order online while waiting.
The Yakitori dons are nice, with a clear smoky BBQ flavor. The signature beef gyudon is also good; be sure to add an onsen egg.
The Unagi and beef combo could use more sauce mixed into the don. The unagi itself is just okay, not outstanding.
The curry rice comes with a generous portion of rice and gravy, I couldn't finish it. I recommend looking through the menu to understand the differences between S, M, XM, and L sizes to decide if you want more rice, more ingredients, or both.
The chicken karaage is good, crispy on the outside and still juicy. The green vegetables are simply prepared with diced garlic but taste nice.
Overall, it's nice, and I'll eat here again!

First time trying this brand and my overall experience is good. The place is decently renovated, well-lit, with a fast-food design concept. Customer service is decent. There are quite a lot of choices, and what I like about them is the ability to mix and match ingredients. The price is not cheap, but definitely cheaper than what you'd pay in a well-known restaurant. Personally, I think the quality and taste are good. The only thing is that since it's a fast-food concept, we have to crack the egg ourselves. There's a small washing area behind to clean up, but the soap and tissue were finished. I would recommend someone to try it out.
