I had a very uncomfortable experience at Yoshinoya today. This is the first time I felt sick after eating gyudon. There was a ghastly amount of oil in my gyudon, and it tasted very inedible. It felt like the oil was stale and not fresh, and I felt sick after just taking one sip. The gyudon itself, the beef slices were very bland and lacked any love or flavour. The soft-boiled egg was the best part of the dish, but it didn't feel like a Japanese onsen egg, just a regular soft-boiled egg. The rice was okay. Also, the double gyudon seemed to have only about 60% of the expected beef. After this horrid experience, I will never patronize Yoshinoya again.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but unfortunately, that's not possible. I ordered a Large Beef Bowl through GrabFood from this outlet. When it arrived, I was excited to enjoy it as I had been waiting for a long time. To my dismay, upon opening it, I found a black item which, upon closer inspection, seemed to be a broken piece of a black spoon or fork. My question is, how did it get here in the first place? What if I had eaten it? Furthermore, I did not request cutlery and was using my own, so there's no way it could have come from me.

Having frequented this place regularly over the past year, about once a week, I knew the serving was not a double gyudon. I checked twice with the employee about the order accuracy, but their reply and attitude were lackadaisical.
*A new face, sigh. Regrettably, the product and the poor attitude.
Disappointed with the inconsistency of single versus double gyudon portions, especially in the past month and particularly tonight. It was definitely only about 60% of the previous serving size for a double gyudon. Beware.

Decided to give Yoshinoya a try for the first time and had a pleasant dining experience overall. Ordering was done through a self-service kiosk, where I could also request less rice. The waiting time was not long; food was prepared in under 10 minutes. The Salted Salmon was surprisingly tasty. Plenty of seats were available in the restaurant, and it was clean and spacious.
