Please train your staff to acknowledge customers rather than putting the food down and walking away. Customers are not your guinea pigs; we pay for dining in. Please show them some respect. If it's busy, I understand, but I came at 3 pm, and the place was almost empty. Disappointing.
I may give it another try next time to see what has improved, but for now, it's 2 stars for service and 3 stars for food.

This was my first time here for lunch. The first staff member I encountered, a woman whose masked face suggested she was having a bad day, was not very welcoming.
We were shown to a table and requested a change for our little one's safety. The same lady curtly told us to wait, without any pleasantries like "please wait" or "please hold on".
I understand the challenges in the F&B industry to find good, let alone reasonably priced, service staff. Perhaps customers like us are not their target demographic for making money.
This will be our first and last visit. Maybe it was just bad luck for us. Also, I didn't realize the Tom Yum was extremely spicy for my wife, who can usually handle spicy food better than me. So, all she experienced was the heat, not much of the Tom Yum flavour. Yes, we could have asked for it to be less spicy, but given there won't be a "next time" for us, it wasn't worth it.

Do NOT get their oysters!! I got the worst food poisoning of my life. It was absolute torture! The oysters were fishy and ended up causing me to get TWO JABS! TWO JABS to get rid of my stomach pain and nausea! Worst oysters I have ever eaten. On the other hand, the carbonara was fine, but I was stuck in the toilet for the whole day after that with constant diarrhoea.

Great western cuisine with a range of good quality foods to choose from. Everything seemed reasonably priced, and it specially caters to students through their available student discounts. I got the truffle chicken cheese baked rice, which was very tasty and had a great truffle taste. It was very moist with the cream sauce and a thick layer of cheese on top. The chicken came in big, generous chunks, paired perfectly with the soft sliced mushrooms. The other cheese baked rice I got was the one you can create yourself and have as a student meal, including soup and a drink. It was made with cream tomato sauce, salmon, and chicken sausage. Not bad, but not the best-tasting combination. I would recommend the cream sauce; it never goes wrong. Everything was served quite quickly and was worth the money.

Very top-notch steak. Compliments to the chef. It's very seldom that the doneness is exactly as ordered. And the garlic butter... it melts your tongue! Love the spicy sauce that comes with the steak. Lovely staff and ample seats. Just need stronger aircon, IMO. But a lovely place to dine with loved ones. Keep it up, y'all!

I had a great lunch experience at Eighteen Chefs. The food was delicious and seasoned just right, tasting very well-balanced and satisfying. The restaurant has a simple yet cozy décor that makes it feel welcoming. It was quite crowded when I visited, which shows how popular the place is. Despite that, the service was smooth and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Definitely worth a visit!

Compared to 10 years ago (when I was with 18CF at AMK, Cineplex, 313), the current food standard is vastly improved – a night and day difference. From the Heart Attack Platter to even the salad, everything was tender, hot, and seasoned well. Proud of everyone. Service was excellent too.
Perhaps it's the Benny-leaving effect (kidding), but today 18CF is no longer just "that school hangout/cheap restaurant" in my book. Thanks for the great meal! (The place is still hella noisy, but at this point, it's a nice trait of 18CF :) ) *Note: did not order the baked rice. Too much PTSD...
