A nice, air-conditioned place for a quick bite, conveniently located opposite Sheng Siong Supermarket. If you're a noodle lover or enjoy curry rice with chicken cutlet, fried fish, fried prawn, or sambal Soto, this is the right spot for a good, hot meal. I personally prefer their curry rice set. On Sunday morning, 11 April 2021, I had a late breakfast here and ordered their signature noodle set no. 3 for $5. Their serving size is quite generous. This is a Halal-certified food stall.

I saw the staff switch out a chicken cutlet from the customer in front of me, and that same cutlet was then given to me. It was undercooked. When I consulted the staff, he said they were all the same. Why did he switch it out for the customer in front of me? There must have been a reason.

First and last time trying Encik Tan. I ordered Fish Set Number 6, expecting batang fish as shown. Instead, I received a lump of fried batter that looked like fried potato. Inside, there was only a little bit of fish meat (maybe a quarter of the batang fish with bone), and the rest was flour. It's not a fish set, maybe a "flour set". They are probably trying to maximise profits. I feel totally cheated.

The noodles were overcooked and tasted very mushy. The staff cooking the noodles could have blended the chilli with the other sauces, rather than adding a large scoop of chilli to the side of the bowl. It looked a bit unappetizing. The fishball and coffee were nice, though.

A decent and affordable spot for lunch under $10, located inside Junction 10. Service was relatively quick despite the long queue. It's a fuss-free spot if you want to grab a quick meal. I got the chicken cutlet, and it was hot and freshly fried.

Convenient stall in an ulu place. Good old laksa, very lemak, cannot fail. Pricey side, no hum but authentic. Others complain about the watery curry. Amazing sore staff doing dicing, cooking, dishing, cashier, collecting & washing – OMG! Hence, the poorest rating for service or lack thereof. Buckle up, Encik, else you'll lose your customers.
