What makes Mr Bean truly special is its commitment to healthy, soy-based products that cater to both sweet and savory preferences, making it a popular destination for health-conscious consumers seeking halal dining options.

The menu at Mr Bean showcases an impressive variety of soy-centric offerings, from their signature Original Recipe pancakes filled with red bean, tuna, chicken mayo, kaya cheese, and innovative seasonal flavors like Gula Melaka and Curry Chicken with Potato. Their wholesome rice bowls feature meat-free alternatives like Japanese Curry and Truffle Mushroom options, while their beverage selection ranges from classic soy milk at $2.50 to exotic drinks like Icy Sea Salt Chendol at $5.20. The brand also offers nutritious rice balls, silky beancurd, grass jelly combinations, and healthy soy granola bars, ensuring there's something for every dietary preference and taste profile.

Mr Bean's recent achievement of complete MUIS halal certification across all outlets represents a significant milestone in Singapore's inclusive dining landscape, making quality soy-based nutrition accessible to the broader Muslim community. Suspicious shop. I saw the reviews and was hesitant, but I really wanted a hot bean curd drink. The taste was okay, but while I was sipping, a long piece of substance came out. The bean curd drink was not strained, which was intimidating. Service was non-existent; the staff did not acknowledge customers, and nothing was said.

I used to like the food here. However, the rusty wok smell on the pancakes bothers me. I gave it another chance yesterday (25th June 2024), and sadly, the pancakes still had the same rusty wok smell. I've noticed this happens with quite a few of their brunches.

The elderly auntie/grandma there is extremely rude! I tried to remain polite despite her rude voice, rude tone, and rude attitude. I was very close to shouting at her this morning. Mr. Bean, you'd better change your staff if you want to have good sales. The customer after me felt the same and almost left because of her. I will never come back to this store ever again.

We ordered a Pearly Taro, but the auntie said it would only be ready in an hour. After asking her why and for an explanation, she ended up making it! Perhaps she only wanted to process the quick orders at 9 am.

This used to be my go-to place for breakfast, but this year they changed staff to an old aunty who is very rude and impatient. We arrived around 8:30 AM and could see many egg sandwiches were already prepared. However, she scolded us, saying she had just arrived and was still cooking, so we had to leave. Walao, we could clearly see about 15-20 ready sandwiches. And isn't the opening time 7:30 AM? You arrive at the store at 8:30 AM and then scold people away? You didn't even ask us to wait for a moment, just told us to go away.

There are many poor reviews of the aunty. Although my daughter felt she was impatient in preparing our order, I thought she was okay. Not rude. She even bundled up some items to give me more value for money and apologised for making me wait when she made a mistake in keying in the bill. The soybean milk could be filtered more for a completely smooth texture, in my opinion.

I just had a great experience here! Not sure why the reviews are so bad; everyone was nice and the milk and pancakes were perfect.
