I recently tried the new food court, which offers a wide variety of cuisines. However, I feel that this particular nasi lemak outlet has room for improvement. After waiting about 10 minutes for the chicken, I was expecting a generous portion, but the serving size, especially the rice, felt smaller than anticipated. I was also a bit surprised that requesting extra sambal incurred an additional charge of 60 cents. Overall, while others may enjoy it, sadly, this outlet didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Despite the stall's prominent display of Michelin accolades that always catches my eye at Kopitiam, the food I received was a bit of a letdown. While they certainly give you a lot for your money, the quality wasn't what I'd hoped for. The chicken thigh was unfortunately dry, and everything was crammed into the takeaway box, so all the flavors mixed together in an unappealing way. I also really wished they'd given more of their sambal sauce, which was surprisingly tasty. Eating it all jumbled up like that made it a bit of a hassle. Perhaps it's a better experience if you eat there, where the portions on the plates look huge.

The food, the food… After a while, I decided to give it another try. I had no. 19, Indomie with BBQ chicken leg topped with chili. I ordered spicy and extra noodles, which was really expensive at $11 plus. I was really hungry so I accepted it. The noodles were salty and the chicken leg had a gamey smell to it. The chili wasn’t spicy; in fact, it added to the saltiness. The male staff was rather rude, but I didn’t want to bother about his attitude. I just wanted him to cook my noodles well. Too much hype for this kind of taste. Won't eat again unless I have a voucher. They should start QC on their food. I think they spend too much on decor than on their food. Won't recommend.

Ordered the Indomie Ayam Cabe Hijau. It came on a huge plate! The Indomie was tasty and the chilli wasn't too spicy. However, the chicken lacked flavour. It would be good if there was a sweet sauce to complement the meal.

The cashier was extremely rude. The picture shows the amount of chilli I received after asking for a little more, as the initial serving was pathetic for nasi lemak. I was then told it costs 50 cents, which is a first for me. I can understand if the initial serving size was fair, but it was not. Michelin Guide? Nah...

Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang serves fragrant coconut rice with spicy, flavourful grilled chicken inspired by Lombok’s Ayam Taliwang. The sambal is robust and fiery, complementing the tender meat. While the rice can sometimes be less “lemak” and consistency varies by outlet, it remains a satisfying, value-for-money fusion nasi lemak experience.

Impressed with the food at Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang at Plaza Singapura, level 6 food court. The chicken is well-marinated with a smokey flavor. Their Indonesian-style sambal is really tasty and delicious. A must-try, this Michelin-recommended dish.

Finally, I can taste nice nasi lemak in Singapore. We went there early in the morning, and there weren't many people at that time. There was only one Malay staff member doing all the work then. I ordered the nasi lemak premium because it came with fried cabbage, but it was not edible. Probably leftover from yesterday. Please improve this part.

This nasi lemak might be one of my favourite dishes after today because this is the best one I've had in my entire life (ordered #8)!!! The rice was super moist; I was genuinely impressed and couldn't stop smiling while eating. The chicken smelled like a combo of satay and otah, which I loved so much. The chicken was cooked thoroughly with no uncooked parts, and it was very easy to separate the meat. The meat was very tender and juicy; I was in heaven. Best $8.5 spent! I'll definitely return to try other dishes ^_^

If their chicken was the star of the show, everything else wouldn't even be invited for casting. Maybe the potato croquettes, but that's only because I love anything potato. The chicken had a smoky taste, was well-seasoned, and paired well with the sambal. Unfortunately, nothing else about this nasi lemak lived up to the hype. However, if they work on improving this and perhaps lowering the prices, there's a good chance this place will blow up. Halal
