Poulet represents Singapore's premier destination for authentic French rotisserie chicken, bringing sophisticated European culinary traditions to accessible casual dining locations throughout the island since achieving complete MUIS halal certification in November 2020. Strategically positioned in high-traffic shopping destinations including ION Orchard, VivoCity, Kallang Wave Mall, Raffles City, and other premium locations, Poulet has successfully created a network that makes authentic French roast chicken experiences accessible to Singapore's diverse communities. Their halal certification marked a significant milestone in Singapore's dining landscape, as it represented the arrival of the first sleek, professional French casual dining restaurant that serves both the Muslim community and broader population seeking quality European cuisine without compromising on religious dietary requirements or authentic preparation methods.
The signature menu at Poulet revolves around their meticulously prepared rotisserie chicken, slow-roasted until achieving the perfect golden brown exterior while maintaining tender, juicy meat that exemplifies traditional French cooking techniques. Available as whole birds ($30.90), half portions (from $16.90), or convenient quarter servings ($14.90), each chicken is accompanied by a selection of sophisticated sauces that elevate the dining experience—including rich Mushroom Cream sauce, tangy Cranberry sauce, and their signature Diane sauce featuring turkey bacon and mushrooms in a complex brown sauce base. This focus on sauce variety demonstrates their commitment to authentic French culinary principles where proper accompaniments transform simple roasted chicken into an elegant dining experience that satisfies both casual diners and those seeking more refined flavors reminiscent of traditional French bistro cuisine.
Poulet's success lies in their ability to deliver sophisticated French casual dining that remains accessible both in terms of pricing and location convenience, positioning themselves as equally suitable for professional work lunches and romantic dinner dates without the prohibitive costs typically associated with fine French restaurants. Their strategic placement in major shopping centers ensures that French culinary experiences become integrated into Singaporeans' regular shopping and leisure activities, while their halal certification opens their doors to Singapore's largest religious community previously excluded from authentic French dining options. The restaurant's emphasis on fresh preparation, quality ingredients, and traditional cooking methods, combined with contemporary presentation and service standards, has established them as pioneers in halal French dining, successfully bridging cultural and culinary divides while maintaining the authenticity and elegance that defines quality French cuisine.

We visited during lunch hours and, despite the crowd, expected a reasonable wait, but the food took quite a while to arrive. Unfortunately, the main letdown was the steak. I had ordered it medium-rare, but it arrived well-done and far too tough to enjoy. I also tried the lychee drink, which was marketed as a “nutritional grade B” option, but it was overwhelmingly sweet, more like dessert in a glass than a balanced beverage.

It's been a while since I've last visited Poulēt. We came here for dinner and noticed they have a good variety of dishes to choose from. The chicken aglio olio is a really bad choice. They use angel hair, which gets cooked too easily. I've yet to eat any al dente angel hair; most of the time, it's pretty soggy. It would be better if they used linguine or regular spaghetti. The garlic toast is crispy, and the baguette is cut to the right size. You can't go wrong with truffle fries, as long as they are not soggy. The Lychee Pomme Delight is a delight. There were more lychees in the glass than on top. The homemade lemon tea was just regular, though. The best is definitely the half chicken with Diane sauce. This is the type of sauce that you can never get sick of, no matter how much you eat. However, our two sides, roasted Brussels sprouts and broccoli, as well as the mac and cheese, were both letdowns. The roasted Brussels sprouts and broccoli could be good if they didn't add any sauce to them. Not everyone knows how to appreciate the taste of the sauce. The mac and cheese was just bland. The Salad de Paris could be better if they incorporated a bit more flavorful ingredients besides cherry tomatoes. There were only tiny bits of olives and dried cranberries, making the bland salad just survive on the salad sauce. Overall, I will only come back for their chicken with Diane sauce and opt for safer sides like mashed potato. Their bar bites, like fries and garlic toast, are great with their drinks.

The food is very well presented and tasty. It would be great if the food was warmer. Service was excellent; they checked if the food was alright and began to clear the plates before serving the desserts. The environment is very chilled and relaxed, with sufficient space and lighting. It felt great having my meal here with my friends!

The staff were extremely friendly and humorous, definitely brightening up our day. The service here is top-notch!
The food is still very yummy as usual, and the sea bass was fresh and soft. The pot pie chicken is quite filling due to the mashed potato inside. The mushroom soup and dessert are nice as well.
A sinful but delightful lunch~

Friday buzz, packed! My first attempt to dine at Poulet. I must try the roasted chicken, but it wasn't to my liking. A friend ordered the pan-seared salmon, which should be nice.
Kudos to Ms. Yaya, who despite the craziness of a busy Friday night, maintained her grace and smiles. She brought us the menus instantly after we settled down at the table and ensured we had the help we needed. When we left, she was still chirpy. A pleasant dining experience.
