Springleaf Prata Place stands as Singapore's premier destination for authentic South Indian and North Indian cuisine, establishing itself as a one-stop family restaurant that serves both traditional favorites and innovative fusion creations. With 9 outlets strategically positioned across Singapore—from their flagship location near Springleaf MRT to accessible spots at Rail Mall near Hillview MRT, Junction10 Woodlands, and Tampines SAFRA—the restaurant has created an extensive network that brings authentic Indian flavors to diverse neighborhoods. Their halal certification ensures that their traditional Indian cooking techniques and spice blends remain accessible to Singapore's multicultural dining community, while their commitment to live prata-making stations demonstrates their dedication to freshness and authenticity that sets them apart from typical hawker fare.

The extraordinary menu at Springleaf Prata Place showcases over 60 varieties of prata, ranging from traditional options like plain prata and murtabak to groundbreaking fusion creations that have redefined Singapore's prata landscape. Signature innovations include their famous Chicken Floss Prata, the original Murtaburger featuring in-house lamb patty, and the plant-based Impossible Murtaburger that caters to modern dietary preferences. Their culinary creativity shines through unique offerings like Däs Prätwürst ($9.90) with chicken sausage and currywurst sauce, Salted Egg Prawn Prata ($12.90) combining local flavors with traditional techniques, and Praclette ($10.20) inspired by Swiss raclette with truffle oil, demonstrating how traditional Indian flatbread can serve as a canvas for global culinary influences while maintaining authentic preparation methods.

Springleaf Prata Place's success lies in their ability to honor traditional Indian cooking while embracing innovation, creating annual specialty pratas for the Ultimate Hawker Fest that keep customers returning for new experiences. Their comprehensive menu extends beyond prata to include thosai, noodles, set meals, and aromatic curries featuring mutton, chicken, and beef preparations, ensuring that every family member finds satisfying options regardless of their preferences. The restaurant's prata live stations and catering services for events demonstrate their commitment to bringing authentic Indian food experiences beyond their physical locations, establishing them as cultural ambassadors who introduce Singapore's diverse population to both traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine through the beloved medium of perfectly crafted prata.

The prata was so-so. The Maggie goreng tasted like instant boiled noodles, and the fried rice seemed like it was only fried for 15 seconds. Service was bad; I had to chase for my order, and they kept saying 'coming, coming' but it never arrived. Communication was really poor.

Drove to order a few takeaway food items from the newest branch. The server forgot to pass me one of my orders, and I had to drive back to ask for it. I have to say the curry tasted sour, and the quality of the prata and murtabak has severely deteriorated. The kosong prata was too oily and dense. The Bee Hoon Goreng was bland and very greasy. The murtabak was too oily compared to the last time I had it there. Maybe the chef has changed, but I'm definitely not going back to try it again.

It's been a while since I last bought food from here. I ordered the take-out mutton briyani and masala tea. The briyani still tasted good. However, I was disappointed with the portion size. For the masala tea, it was even worse. For the price of $2.70, I was expecting a taste much better than hawker stalls, but it was just mediocre. To make matters worse, the portion they packed wasn't even 3/4 cup full when I poured it out at home! I felt cheated this time. With the price hike, the least you could do is be fair to consumers.

Perhaps the best prata shop in Singapore? They offer many unique prata flavours you can't find elsewhere. There's no GST and no service charge. They even use a robot to send food to your table.

Best branch ever. Carol, at the cashier, was very friendly and even able to recommend dishes and drinks. The cherry on top is that this place is open 24 hours!

It's the crispiest prata in Singapore. The taste is nice, and you get two choices of curry (fish/chicken) with free flow. Furthermore, the curry is unique and kept in a warmer, so the curry is always warm/hot whenever you dine in. Service deserves compliments because it's a queue-and-order style. Unlike other places where you take a seat first, and when it comes to ordering, you become invisible and nobody takes your order. Give a thumbs up for the thoughtfulness of the ordering style.

This is easily one of my favourite prata spots in Singapore! The prata is great, but what really stood out was the service. Carol, the cashier/host, was super friendly and took the time to explain all the ongoing promotions, which I would've missed otherwise. I even signed up for their membership on the spot! It's rare to get such genuine and attentive service. Will definitely be back!
