Springleaf Prata Place stands as Singapore's premier destination for authentic South Indian and North Indian cuisine, establishing itself as a one-stop family restaurant that serves both traditional favorites and innovative fusion creations. With 9 outlets strategically positioned across Singapore—from their flagship location near Springleaf MRT to accessible spots at Rail Mall near Hillview MRT, Junction10 Woodlands, and Tampines SAFRA—the restaurant has created an extensive network that brings authentic Indian flavors to diverse neighborhoods. Their halal certification ensures that their traditional Indian cooking techniques and spice blends remain accessible to Singapore's multicultural dining community, while their commitment to live prata-making stations demonstrates their dedication to freshness and authenticity that sets them apart from typical hawker fare.
The extraordinary menu at Springleaf Prata Place showcases over 60 varieties of prata, ranging from traditional options like plain prata and murtabak to groundbreaking fusion creations that have redefined Singapore's prata landscape. Signature innovations include their famous Chicken Floss Prata, the original Murtaburger featuring in-house lamb patty, and the plant-based Impossible Murtaburger that caters to modern dietary preferences. Their culinary creativity shines through unique offerings like Däs Prätwürst ($9.90) with chicken sausage and currywurst sauce, Salted Egg Prawn Prata ($12.90) combining local flavors with traditional techniques, and Praclette ($10.20) inspired by Swiss raclette with truffle oil, demonstrating how traditional Indian flatbread can serve as a canvas for global culinary influences while maintaining authentic preparation methods.
Springleaf Prata Place's success lies in their ability to honor traditional Indian cooking while embracing innovation, creating annual specialty pratas for the Ultimate Hawker Fest that keep customers returning for new experiences. Their comprehensive menu extends beyond prata to include thosai, noodles, set meals, and aromatic curries featuring mutton, chicken, and beef preparations, ensuring that every family member finds satisfying options regardless of their preferences. The restaurant's prata live stations and catering services for events demonstrate their commitment to bringing authentic Indian food experiences beyond their physical locations, establishing them as cultural ambassadors who introduce Singapore's diverse population to both traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine through the beloved medium of perfectly crafted prata.
Not so clean. Finger prints all around the small plates. 50% not properly cleaned.

Not very clean. Fingerprints were all around the small plates; 50% were not properly cleaned.
Fortunately, the Teh Tarik was quite good. I hope the same person makes it when I return.
Staff seemed uncommitted to improving the dining experience. Leftovers from customers were not cleared away quickly.
No commitment was shown to the franchise.

They moved from Pasir Panjang to Harbourfront, but their work etiquette is atrocious.
1. They do not open on time. Their site says the shop opens at 8am but they only open at 8:20am.
2. Poor service attitude; they don't even acknowledge my order when I've placed it or answer my questions.
3. Food is decreasing in taste and quality.
Absolutely zero consideration for customers who travel early in the morning to arrive at the location on time, especially on a weekend.

Food is okay. But they have some problems handling cleanliness and sanitation. Tables are normally always dirty, and no one cleans outside.

Slow service. Ordered two egg prata at 12:40 PM on a Monday. Food was served at 1:10 PM. An unreasonable 30-minute wait for two pieces of prata.

So glad Springleaf opened an outlet here. I've always enjoyed their pratas, but the other outlets were too out of the way for me.
There's an opening promotion happening right now.
I had the 1-for-1 cheese egg prata and an iced teh tarik for my breakfast before work.
They are freshly made upon ordering. You're given a buzzer to wait. It's recommended to find a seat first as there are limited seating available and the outlet isn't very big.
It's located on the 1st floor, right outside the arrival gate of the ferry terminal. So if you're coming from the MRT station, you'll need to walk to the very back of HarbourFront Centre.

The food here is among the best Indian cuisine with reasonable pricing. Portions are huge and the taste is great. The place is a bit too cold, but overall, it was a good lunch experience.

The boba prata is SOOOOOOOO good! It's sweet and delicious, even though it wasn't crispy. You definitely need to try it!
The service was exceptional, 11 out of 10! The staff member who served us was really friendly. Usually, you have to collect your food yourself at the counter, but he was kind enough to deliver it to our table.
The place was a little dirty, with curry on the table, but it was okay as we had tissues. Overall, cleanliness wasn't a major issue.
Whether the place is crowded really depends on the time you visit. I've only been once, so I can't comment on that.
To add to my prata review, the prata itself was really good, especially with the curry. The taste is top-tier.
I'm not sure if I just got lucky, as others have had different experiences. However, this is based on my visit. I'd say it's a good place for a quick meal!

Great food with amazing quality at a very affordable price! Service was excellent, and to top it off
Great food with amazing quality at a very affordable price! The service was excellent, and to top it off, this place even has Michelin Star recognition — so impressive! Highly recommended. Once you arrive at Hubble Front and exit the immigration gate, just turn left. It’s on the left side near the spring lift, right in front of the toilet. Super easy to find!

This location is better than Pasir Panjang outlet(cramp).
Occupying QiJi former location.
Air -con
This location is better than the Pasir Panjang outlet, which is cramped. It occupies the former QiJi location. The air-conditioning is too cold as it's situated at the rear corner of level 1. We used the 1-for-1 promo for Cheese Prata and Mozzarella Cheese Prata. The Masala Chicken is exceptionally tasty. The fish curry uses too much salted fish and is a bit salty.
