Crave Nasi Lemak has established itself as Singapore's beloved halal-certified chain, bringing the renowned flavours of The Original Adam Road Nasi Lemak by Selera Rasa to food lovers across the island. With 43 locations spanning popular malls like NEX, Bedok Mall, Jurong Point, and Junction 8, this restaurant has gained recognition from notable figures including PM Lee, the Sultan of Brunei, and the President of Indonesia, cementing its reputation as a must-visit destination for authentic Malaysian cuisine.
What sets Crave apart is their innovative approach to the traditional nasi lemak, featuring fragrant basmati rice instead of conventional short-grain rice. The long basmati grains create a light, fluffy texture with a delicate coconut milk fragrance that perfectly absorbs the accompanying flavours without becoming clumpy. Their signature sambal chili, crafted with both Indian and Japanese chilies, strikes an ideal balance between sweet and spicy, making it accessible even to those with lower spice tolerance while delivering authentic bold flavours.
The menu showcases signature dishes like the 2-piece Spicy Chicken Wings Nasi Lemak and Nasi Lemak Royale, complemented by traditional sides including beef rendang, curry chicken, otah, and sayur lodeh. With affordable pricing ranging from -0 per dish and convenient delivery options through GrabFood, Foodpanda, and Deliveroo, Crave successfully combines traditional Malaysian heritage with modern convenience and accessibility.

A Malay staff member who served me saw his friend and started chatting with him. I ordered and paid for the jewel set (fish & chicken cutlet). Upon returning home, I realised he only gave me the chicken cutlet, missing the fish patty. This happened at the Jurong Point outlet.

Experienced multiple issues with missing or incorrect items on several occasions.
During my first visit, I purchased two "jewel sets" and both were missing the chilli sauce.
On my second visit, I again bought two "jewel sets" with the original chicken option for both. However, I was given spicy chicken for both.
The third time was the worst. I purchased two "jewel sets" again, and both were missing the fish fillets and potato.
I hope the staff can be more mindful and attentive to the ingredients included in each set. Perhaps pasting the ingredients for them to refer to while preparing the sets would help. Please avoid missing items.
I hope the management will take action to improve this situation. Thank you.

Bought a pack of their Nasi Lemak Royale for $8.30. The Nasi Lemak Royale was as shown on the picture of the receipt with the time stamp. I scooped out everything onto a bowl to show the serving, as it could hardly be seen in the packaging itself.
The rice was at most 5 mouthfuls. The chicken wing was absolutely tasteless. The begedil was burnt on one side. If this is what royalty is like, then count me out of it for good. A royale disappointment.

Great food, but the chilli provided is pathetic. The tiny tub is just insufficient for the rice, chicken wing, and fish. To make it worse, they charge for extra chilli. Nasi lemak without chilli is disappointing.

I was really disappointed with my recent order from Crave. I bought it today at 11:15 PM and found a hair embedded in the egg yolk of my nasi lemak, which is a serious hygiene issue. This raises concerns about their food preparation standards. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their food handling practices.

Pretty good nasi lemak, which has a presence almost everywhere in Singapore, so you can easily satisfy your cravings.
The most important part is the rice, which is well-cooked with a strong coconut fragrance and taste. The sambal also brings out the flavour of all the sides.
I find the Nasi Lemak Royale set to be more value for money as it has many sides, making it a set for two people if you're not a big eater.
They also accept mobile payment via GrabPay, which makes payment smooth sailing.
Only for takeaway at this outlet. It would have been perfect if there were seats available.

Halal fragrant coconut milk rice with freshly fried ikan bilis & peanuts, matched with well-balanced sambal chili & generous cucumber slices. Yum yum!
What do I like about Crave Nasi Lemak?
1. Rice - They use high-quality rice grains, a mix of basmati and jasmine rice.
2. Meat side - You can choose from Selar fish, fried fish fillet, chicken wing, or rendang chicken.
3. Ikan bilis side - Freshly fried with crunchy peanuts.
4. Sambal Chili - Balanced between spicy and sweet.
5. Crunchy cucumbers, fresh fried egg.
Recommend: Selar Fish Set ($5.90) with extra chili on the side & extra cucumber.
Extra fish at $2 per piece or add extra fried egg, otah, Thai fish cake, or bergedil as you please.
Tips: The rice tends to soak up sambal chili / chicken rendang sauce. Have it as soon as possible if you are taking away.
