Did not enjoy my dinner. The plates were not at the required heat, and the meat was cut too thick, making it difficult to cook. Additionally, many flies were disturbing during the meal, possibly due to the open kitchen and food not being cleared promptly. The staff seemed to stand around clueless. This was my first and last time visiting this outlet.

I'm actually confused by the bad reviews here. I've just returned to Singapore, and while customer service here isn't generally good, at Pepper Lunch, I was greeted with a smile for the first time. The counter staff took the time to explain all the combos, and based on what I liked (and missed from Pepper Lunch), she also advised what to order. The food was well-portioned (a rarity in Singapore) and full of umami. The service was prompt, making it an all-round great dining experience. Obviously, the price isn't as cheap as when they were in the kopitiam, but by today's standards, you can still get a full set meal with a side and rice for under S$20, which I think is not bad. My only suggestion is to allow more customization. For example, if you want Hamburg, you need to pair it with diced beef steak or normal beef, etc., so I can't mix it with chicken or salmon, which is a little frustrating. From a 4-star rating on my last review to a 1-star today. Terrible service, terrible professionalism, and uncouth staff talking so loudly, almost shouting at me when I asked where the brown sauce was (which I was accustomed to on previous orders). This caused a great degree of embarrassment and they also placed the drink cap-less and precariously at the edge of the tray, causing a massive spillage on my shirt. It was just an all-round terrible look, like it was their first day on the job. So off-putting. Why was the rice, for the first time ever, served in a separate bowl? Usually, it's on the main plate with the meat, as was the case for my mum's meal and everyone else's. This just ruined my appetite. Whatever happened to what used to be an amazing place? Now it's just a horrible experience. Do the new staff get trained at this place? Stop shouting at customers.

Always been a fan of Pepper Lunch, but today's cutlery and the staff's attitude were very bad. The tone she used was very rude. I found out the person's name was Jenny. Very rude. The spoon and forks were not even clean...

Checked out the new Pepper Lunch and got the chicken with an extra egg. It came out sizzling hot like always. Tastes just like the other outlets, which is a good thing. The chicken was tender, the egg mixed in nicely, and the whole dish was just solid comfort food. Nothing new, but that’s what I like about it. It's reliable and hits the spot when you're hungry.

Amazing food! The service was also very efficient. I personally liked their usual Beef Pepper Rice here the most, especially with their deals. Unfortunately, the price point for the other meals was steep, which made me a little hesitant to buy. They recently started selling merchandise, which was really cute!

Had Pepper Lunch at a mall near home. We ordered two meals. The quality was just as expected from Pepper Lunch—consistent. The Jumbo Beef with Egg is my favorite. However, since it was Saturday lunchtime and probably busier than usual, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the food to arrive.

It's nice to have comfortable seating. This outlet is cozy and modern. The best thing the outlet could offer is great customer service. Jeff helped us with our order by asking for our preferences. Knowing your customer is very helpful! The food is good and came relatively fast. I witnessed a server helping an elderly couple cook their food. A warm and nice gesture!
