I'm posting this review because Astons support did not get back to me even after I prompted them twice. On 28 May 2025, I ordered takeaway from this outlet. Almost half of the chicken I received was pink throughout the insides, and Astons support did not acknowledge the issue. I will be contacting SFA about this matter.

Very bad experience here, with a shocking drop in service standard. I highly recommend avoiding this outlet if you can. We came at 8:35 PM on a Friday night, and our food arrived at 9:30 PM. Towards 9:15 PM, after waiting for 30 minutes, we started to ask the service staff. We received a few 'we will check' replies, and they simply walked to another corner of the indoor area without even looking at the receipts. (As this outlet is not big, you can see the entire area at a glance). The lip service added to a frustrating night. I also noticed a staff member roll his eyes as he went to invite more waiting customers outside. He is the staff with a tattooed left arm and short, spiky brown hair in a black uniform. The food finally arrived, and the grilled chicken was visibly over-charred/burnt. Dear Astons team, if this is a case of understaffing in the kitchen, it's definitely something you can solve with better pre- or contingency planning. We will be avoiding this Downtown East outlet from here on. Disappointing!

No kids meal available. The food tasted basic at best, and the staff were chatting amongst themselves more than focusing on customers. Standards have dropped significantly. It was disappointing; I couldn't even finish my steak as it wasn't good.

Waited for more than 35 minutes for my food. Customers who arrived later even had their food served first. The garden vegetables were so watery that they diluted all the sauces on my plate. The beef was also too chewy.

Farid is a gem, attentive and was able to perform service recovery even though we didn't ask for anything. Aston needs more proactive managers like him to continue its growth streak.

Had an early dinner here with my kids after their swim class, and we all enjoyed it! The mac & cheese and fries were a hit with the little ones, and the New York strip was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Service was friendly and fast, and the place has a welcoming vibe—very family-friendly. We'll definitely be back!

This place is perfect if you want a perfect breakfast, lunch, dinner, and supper. I went here after a good swim at Wild Wild Wet. As you know, I'm usually very tired after 4 hours there, so this place really boosted my energy. I highly recommend it!
