The Beef Boat Noodle Deluxe was pretty good, topped with generous pieces of beef, beef chunks, and small pieces of tendons. The texture of the boat noodles was just right. However, we felt that the soup, though tasty, was too salty. Considering the amount of ingredients, the price was fair.

A bowl of rice noodles is priced at $8.90. For this price, I think it's reasonable if the food is of good quality. I ordered the beef brisket noodles but was given 90% tendon and only 2 chunks of meat. 100% not worth it. There are other food stalls just beside that sell cheaper and nicer food. Also, the cashier's attitude is very bad. She was constantly shouting at customers who were queuing to order, instructing them to order via the self-ordering machine instead as she was busy with packing delivery orders.

Standards have dropped significantly over these past few weeks. The soup for the boat noodles is no longer as layered and flavourful; now it's just bland. The noodle type has also changed, and the beef slices are very stringy and tough. I thought it was an isolated incident last week when I ordered, but it's still the same when I ordered again now. I'm not sure if they decided to cut quality or changed suppliers.

The mee rebus with grilled chicken was surprisingly the better dish, as compared to the beef noodles (with tendon). The portion was bigger, and the grilled chicken was done well. Will try other dishes next time.

I am working at Paya Lebar Square. This was my first time here for lunch, and it was a really bad experience. Food: The rice was very hard and the chicken was salty. Service: The staff there had a really bad attitude. When I simply asked "Which one is mine?", they replied, "You don't know what you've ordered." VERY EXPENSIVE.

2022: Went there for dinner and I am amazed at their laksa gravy. Loved it! But then again, I can’t take spice, so theirs (without chili) is perfect for me. 2021: Had my first meal of the new year here. Simple and nice, just how I want my 2021 to be. Surprised they had Jwee Kuei; I had been wanting to eat that for a long time. May 2021 be a year where we get what we desire.

Visited a few times but I've yet to order a dish that left a deep impression. The menu is expansive, and payment via FavePay is encouraged as you can purchase a cashback card and earn additional credits. I'm not sure why some tables have dividers between them; it feels a bit odd when four people are dining together. Price-wise, it's acceptable. The staff also doesn't rush you out after you've finished your meal.

Their portions are generous. The amount of chicken is definitely more than average, and the seasoning tastes delicious. The achar is a good addition that makes the meal complete. The chilli flakes were self-added, and although quite spicy, they were also quite suitable for this meal. However, the whole meal tasted quite dry. I suggest they could come with some sauces, such as Thai chilli or braised sauce. Alternatively, having a soup would be great.

Firstly, the deluxe Thai Beef Noodle bowl is commendable and easily worth 4-5 stars. I finished the soup, knowing the amount of potential MSG in it... The beef and other ingredients were in sizeable chunks and easy to chew, so no gripes there. The glass noodles were chewy as expected. The Thai milk tea is very sweet, so beware... Problem: customer service. The food is already self-service, so at least be polite and friendly at the sales counter. If not, implement a self-order kiosk. I witnessed a customer being treated rudely, so 1-2 stars were discounted...

Tried the Tom Yum Sautéed Chicken ($8.50) from Kaffe&Toast. The freshly stir-fried chicken thigh was tender and nicely coated with the sauce. Overall, I think the food quality is consistent and worth a queue time of 10 minutes.
